  Our mission is to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people’s lives. We do this by: encouraging the development and application of psychology in the broadest manner; promoting research in psychology, the improvement of research methods and conditions and the application of research findings; improving the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists by establishing high standards of ethics, conduct, education and achievement; increasing and disseminating psychological knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions and publications.

  The American Sociological Association is a non-profit membership association that is dedicated to advancing sociology as a scientific discipline and profession serving the public good.
• Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI)

  ABAI provides many services to its members and the field including the following; events that promote dissemination of the science and provide continuing education opportunities for practitioners; job placement services for applicants and employers; important scholarly journals in the field; support of the dissemination of behavior analysis in the United States and around the world; special interest groups initiated by and for members to provide forums for information exchange and to promote particular areas of behavior analysis.

• Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP)

  SIOP is a leading organization for those practicing and teaching industrial-organizational psychology. I-O psychology is a dynamic and growing field that encompasses workplace issues at the individual and organizational level. I-O psychologists apply research that improves the well-being and performance of people and the organizations that employ them. IOP is a division within the American Psychological Association and an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science.
