How to Use this Guide
This guide is intended for use by faculty thinking about or in the process of redesigning a course using Open Educational Resources at ANU. It is important to coordinate your ideas with your Dean or Department Chair, who can advise you as to which elements of the course are fixed and which elements you have academic freedom to modify.
There are three main areas to this guide as referenced in the menu bar: 1) Getting Started with Teaching Online, 2) Strategies for Engaging Online Learners, and 3) How to Find and Evaluate OER Sources in your academic area. While resources are organized into these broad categories, you are encouraged to explore all the pages in this guide. Topic pages include pedagogical resources, instructional design theories, links to free educational technologies, and content evaluation forms.
