Instructions For Completion
The library instruction session is designed by the ANU Library to provide you both an introduction to important research concepts, as well as videos on how to apply these concepts in the library’s resources. Follow numerically through the five steps of the instruction session.
1. Metacognition Tutorial- open the link to the brief exercise introducing the concept and applying it to a research strategy
2. Search Strategy Presentation- watch the video and think about the questions asked of you as you advance through it
3. Concept Map Exercise- apply what you learned from Steps One and Two to your research topic. Submit your map to the librarian for individual feedback
4. Video for Searching ANU Library- watch the brief pre-recorded Zoom video that shows you how to use our EBSCO Quick Search databases
5. Session Feedback- fill out the form to let us know your thoughts on this session
If you run into trouble at any time, contact the library for assistance (or you may wish to open a different browser if you run into any difficulty playing one of the embedded videos

Downloadable Version of MapDownload the map and fill it in for your course research topic. Submit a copy of the completed map to the assignment dropbox for your course in Canvas. The librarian will provide you feedback on your research map.
